Batch, mfg & expiry at receipt
Every GRN line captures batch, manufacturing and expiry date. Every later movement carries the batch with it.
Asli Pharma ERP gives small pharmaceutical wholesalers lot and expiry control, FEFO picking, quarantine and QC release, recall trace and cold-chain logs in one system. For DSCSA it connects to your DSCSA partner rather than replacing it.
Asli Pharma ERP is a cloud ERP for small pharmaceutical wholesalers in the United States. It keeps lot and expiry, FEFO picking, quarantine and QC release, recall trace and cold-chain logs in one system. For DSCSA it connects to your DSCSA partner for EPCIS exchange and VRS rather than replacing it; that integration is on the roadmap.

The workflow auditors ask to see, running in one place. No spreadsheets between receipt, release and recall.
Received batches sit in quarantine. A QA user releases them — fully or partly — with CoA attached and their name on the record.
FEFO allocation splits orders across batches automatically and prints a pick list with bins. Overrides need a reason.
Pick the batch. See every customer, invoice, delivery note, quantity and date — and the stock still on your shelves, already on hold.
Every feature below ships in the product. No custom development to make it work for a licensed warehouse.
Every GRN line captures batch, manufacturing and expiry date. Every later movement carries the batch with it.
Sales orders and invoices allocate the earliest-expiring batch automatically. Overrides need a reason and are logged.
Received stock waits in quarantine until a QA user releases it — with CoA, checklist, partial release and segregation of duties.
Every customer who received a batch, with invoice and delivery references, quantities, dates and stock left. Holds stock, blocks sales, prints notices.
Cold, ambient, quarantine and recall zones. Put-away suggests the right bin; putting cold stock in ambient needs a logged reason. Temperature log.
Scan GTIN, batch, expiry and serial from GS1 DataMatrix into GRN, transfers and adjustments. Print batch labels.
Released, quarantine, rejected, damaged, returned and recall stock kept apart. Full stock ledger and valuation as of any date.
Role permissions down to the action. Adjustments post only after approval. Every create, edit, approve and override is logged.
Sales orders, pick lists, delivery notes with scan verification, customer returns, routes and visit check-ins for reps.
A fair, category-level comparison. Products in each category differ by vendor and edition; check the specifics with any vendor you shortlist.
| Capability | Asli Pharma ERP | Generic ERP | Inventory app + accounting package |
|---|---|---|---|
| Batch & expiry tracking | Captured at goods receipt and carried on every movement | Usually available through lot tracking, often an add-on or configuration | Common: batch or lot and expiry fields |
| FEFO enforcement | Automatic allocation on orders and invoices; overrides need a logged reason | Configurable picking rules; how strictly they are enforced varies | Often a picking option; enforcement and override logging vary |
| Quarantine / QC release | Received stock is held until an authorised QA release, with CoA and partial release | Available in quality modules aimed at manufacturers; needs setup | Rarely built in; handled with stock-status workarounds |
| Batch recall with customer trace | One screen lists every customer, invoice, quantity and date; remaining stock is put on hold | Possible through lot-trace reports; the recall workflow is usually custom | Lot-trace reports; notices and holds are handled manually |
| Cold-chain zones | 2–8°C and ambient zones, enforced put-away and a temperature log | Zone and bin management available; temperature rules need customisation | Not typically supported |
| Audit trail | Every create, edit, approval and override is logged with user and time | Available; depth depends on edition and configuration | Transaction history; approval workflows vary |
| Cloud access & backups | Runs in any browser; hourly off-site backups included | Cloud or on-premise depending on vendor; backup scope varies | Cloud; backups handled by the vendor |
| US sales tax | Roadmap: a tax-engine integration such as Avalara or TaxJar | Usually through a tax-engine integration | Handled in the accounting package or a tax engine |

Asli does not claim DSCSA compliance. The plan is to connect to your DSCSA partner for EPCIS exchange and verification (VRS) rather than replace it; that integration is on the roadmap. Lot, expiry, quarantine and recall trace work today.
Yes, today. Most small distributors run a DSCSA network service next to their ERP. Asli will integrate with one; any partner fee is passed through.
Pick the lot and Asli lists every consignee who received it, with invoice and delivery references, quantities and dates, and puts remaining stock on hold.
Not yet. Schedule flags, customer DEA-number checks, CSOS / Form 222 references and an ARCOS export are on the roadmap.
Integration with a tax engine such as Avalara or TaxJar, with exemption certificates per customer, is on the roadmap. Until then, sales tax is handled in your accounting system.
